Requesting a Withdrawal from your Studies

A withdrawal is when a student chooses to leave the University permanently.  For example, some students may wish to transfer to a difference institution or exit with an award based on the credits you have acheived to date.

It is not sufficient to inform your School or Student Services that you are not returning to your studies.

You may also feel that you wish to discuss your various options with Student Services who can offer practical advice, suggest options and contact the Registry Officer on your behalf to make an appointment. Accommodation in Halls of Residence
Once your Withdrawal Application is confirmed you will have five working days to leave your Halls of Residence. For further information, please speak to the relevant Registry Officer (Support) or contact the Accommodation Office (
