Reason(s) for wishing to become a General Council Assessor
- I am keen to be a bridge between the university and the public sector - in due course many of its graduates will go on to work there, whether into medicine, the army, teaching, public administration, etc
- I am keen to represent parents of university aged children - it is a very different world in terms of the financial commitment and the graduate opportunities
- My time on the GCBC has given me some insight into the workings of the university and I'm keen to contribute in a more direct fashion based upon my extensive experience in audit and governance
