Postgraduate taught courses

The School offers a number of taught postgraduate programmes and the breadth of psychology and neuroscience taught in the School is a notable strength.  As a postgraduate student, you will have considerable contact time with researchers through tutorials and your research project.

In the study of Psychology, students have significant opportunities to apply a range of techniques to understand human and animal behaviour.

MRes Neuroscience students conduct an independent research project over a 12 month period under the supervision of one or more members of the School’s academic staff. In addition, students take a small number of elective courses in neuroscience, psychology, and/or biology.

The PG Cert in The Psychology of Dementia Care is a part-time online course run by the School of Psychology and Neuroscience.
