Connect to ethernet at a staff workstation

Staff workstations will be fitted with an ethernet cable to allow staff to connect their laptop to our wired network.

University-provided Windows devices

Plug into a docking station or a live network point. No setup required. 

University-provided Macs and other devices

1. Connect via an ethernet cable, then open a web browser and go to https://connect.st-andrews.ac.uk.
2. Click Go to eduroam setup.
3. Log in with your University username and password.
4. Click Download eduroam profile.
5. Run the downloaded file to install the profile and click Continue. 
6. Enter your St Andrews password and click Install when prompted.
7. Enter your credentials when prompted.

Select 'Use Without Private Relay' when prompted so the University can verify your identity.
