The University also offers a number of summer schools and programmes to school-aged students who have yet to apply to university. These include the Sutton Trust summer school, as well as summer programmes in science, creative writing and Scottish studies.
If you're looking to learn a new language, or improve your proficiency in an existing one, evening language classes are available to everyone. Whether you are a complete novice, or you're interested in improving pronunciation, there is a class for you.
The Open Association offers a range of courses, from sign language through to life drawing and even a number of Saturday classes. The Friday evening lecture series has also proved popular, with workshops on literature, music, science and history all forthcoming!
