In addition to offering advertised short courses, the University of St Andrews is able to design and deliver tailor-made courses for closed groups of participants of any age range.
These courses allow content and structure to be designed to match closely with the specific requirements of partner organisations.
The University has extensive experience in creating courses for educational institutions, as well as other types of organisations.
Subject areas covered
Courses can incorporate any area of the University’s academic provision, as well as sports and cultural activities. Where the University of St Andrews does not cover a particular subject area, joint provision with a neighbouring institution may still be possible.
The University has the expertise to design and deliver blended and online courses, as well as residential offerings.
Subject areas covered in previous tailored courses include:
- teaching training and professional development for language teachers
- English language for adults, for teenagers and for younger children
- English language combined with academic content in a number of disciplines
- Scottish culture
- science and culture
- philosophy, politics and economics
- religious philosophy
- international business and negotiations.
If you are interested in running a tailored course designed by University of St Andrews, please email email@example.com. A member of University staff will then follow up with you to ask for more details.
For the English language subjects (for adults, teenagers, and younger children) and the international business and negotiations subjects, courses already arranged with partners may be able to accept individual participants. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
