Eligibility
- Scottish birth or parentage
The Trustees will consider proposals for study, research or special training, or travel abroad in order to advance a career or special interest. Attendance at conferences, symposia and extra curricular courses can be considered.
Support for full-time academic or vocational study will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and will require that the applicant demonstrates outstanding merit in his or her original qualifications and is debarred from further relevant study by financial hardship, and will take all circumstances into consideration.
The Trust also operates under schedules that allow consideration of support for certain aspects of drama, opera, music and visual and performing arts as well as environmental and recreational projects.
