This semester, the Chaplaincy is setting up a GRIEF GROUP and we warmly invite students who have encountered the death of someone close to them to join with us. We will offer a supportive and listening space for those students who have suffered loss and are experiencing grief.
The GRIEF GROUP is an opportunity to find common ground in order to feel less isolated and alone. The group is open to all students who are grieving, and this does not have to be a recent loss. Change, such as starting university, often reopens buried feelings and the GRIEF GROUP will walk alongside you.
The GRIEF GROUP will be a safe place to discuss and share various aspects of grief: from its bizarreness to how it affects our friendships with others who have not experienced a loss.
There will be three, 50-minute sessions per semester via Microsoft Teams, supported by Honorary Chaplains and led by Sam.

There will also be a THANKSGIVING SERVICE on Thursday 5th November at 6.00pm in St Salvator’s Chapel. All are welcome regardless of faith or philosophy of life. Attendance by reservation only, available via the University Events nearer the time.
