I am delighted to join the Chaplaincy from 1 October 2026. We offer support to students and staff by making time and space to listen to them with empathy.

When challenges and pressures leave you with concerns, questions and emotions that can make life difficult for you, know that you do not need to deal with any of them on your own. I would love to welcome you in a safe and quiet place where you can speak confidentially to me about anything, including the joys that you experience.

It is a privilege to me to be able to work with students, staff and colleagues in the academic environment where I once was a student myself. After graduating from St Mary’s College, I continued to live in St Andrews for a while. I am fortunate to have been ordained in the Church of Scotland, and to have been able to serve as a parish minister.
