Description 

The Summer Teams Enterprise programme is supported by four partners including Centre for Educational Enhancement and Development (CEED), Careers Centre, Students' Association, and Playfair Consultancy Group. Participants worked in virtual teams on a 6-8 week project related to improving an aspect of the student or staff experience at the University of St Andrews. Alongside this they took part in a comprehensive skills development programme, themed around the University's six enterprise capabilities. 

Criteria

This electronic badge recognises this student as having fully and successfully completed all requirements for the Summer Team Enterprise Programme at the University of St Andrews. The programme is themed around six enterprise capabilities (1) Creativity and innovation, (2) Opportunity recognition, creation and evaluation, (3) Decision making supported by critical analysis and judgement, (4) Implementation of ideas through leadership, (5) Reflection and action, (6) Communication and strategy skills which further help students with their studies, extra-curricular activities and overall employability.

Alongside this they took part in a comprehensive skills development programme, themed around the University's six enterprise capabilities. One student was awarded a prize for excellence in each of the six enterprise capabilities, and one team was awarded a prize for best overall performance.

Criteria

This electronic badge recognises this student as having won an individual award for excellence or a team award. The individual awards were longlisted by self or peer nomination and shortlisted by a judging panel marking on the evidence of the participant displaying and developing this capability over the course of the project, and the impact this had on the team's performance.

The team awards were longlisted by self nomination, and shortlisted by a judging panel marking on the feedback of the project sponsor (a member of University staff), evidence on how the team developed the six enterprise capabilities, the team's sucess, and how well the team developed a range of graduate attributes over the course of the project.
