Rosanne Horn
Wellbeing Adviser
Rosanne joined Student Services as a Wellbeing Adviser in January 2020.
Rosanne graduated from University of St Andrews with an MA First Class Honours Degree in Social Anthropology. During her time as a student Rosanne volunteered with Student Services providing one-to-one support to fellow students and with Nightline, providing a confidential listening and information service. She also worked as a Personal Helper assisting a blind student. These experiences inspired her to pursue a career in the field of student support and since then she has worked in various roles in tertiary education supporting students with a range of issues relating to their student experience, mental health and wellbeing.
Rosanne is committed to her own lifelong learning and has completed various training including Mental Health First Aid, The Science of Wellbeing, Counselling Studies, Mentoring, Safeguarding, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, Teaching Diploma, to name just a few.
Working with students, particularly to promote wellbeing is her passion and so the position of Wellbeing Adviser is an extremely exciting one!
