Postgraduate taught courses in International Relations
The School offers the following taught postgraduate programmes:
- MLitt in International Political Theory
- MLitt in International Security Studies
- MLitt in Legal and Constitutional Studies
- MLitt in Middle East, Caucasus and Central Asian Security Studies
- MLitt in Peacebuilding and Mediation
- MLitt in Strategic Studies
- MLitt in Terrorism and Political Violence
- MSc (online) in Conflict and Security in Policy and Practice
Students beginning MLitt studies may be able to transfer to an MPhil, provided they meet specific performance requirements. Any transfer also requires the support of the Adviser of Studies and approval from the Head of School.
Discussions about transferring should take place once Semester 1 results are released. Students who transfer to the MPhil will take the IR5601 Research Methods in International Relations module in the first semester of their second year.
