Wedding venues
There are many charming venues across the University that can be used for wedding and civil partnership ceremonies.

Reception venues
Located in the heart of St Andrews Lower College Hall and Upper College Hall offer the perfect setting for exclusive wedding receptions and prestigious events. Reception venues can also be used for civil ceremonies. Enjoy your wedding breakfast in the grandeur of Lower College Hall and then dance the night away in Upper College Hall which has a purpose-built bar, dancefloor and stage for evening receptions.
Ceremony venues
There are several locations across the University that are available for wedding and civil partnership ceremonies, including the University chapels, Upper College Hall and Parliament Hall.
Wedding package

Special events
If you are hosting a special event, the University’s Lower College Hall and Upper College Hall offer a spectacular setting for exclusive events. They are located in the ancient heart of the University and are perfect for prestigious dinners, presentations and drinks receptions.
Another option is the Gateway building, which offers a range of contemporary spaces that are ideal for dinners, seminars, small exhibitions and presentations.
The events team will assist with the planning of your event and work with you to create inspired Scottish cuisine that uses the finest local ingredients
Menus
The events team are happy to work with you to create a unique and memorable day. There are exclusive wedding menus, excellent-value drinks packages and an extensive wine list available.
In addition, the team works with many of the finest local suppliers to ensure the best in Scottish hospitality.
Bespoke menus
The events team pride itself on offering a first-class service and chefs will be happy to create bespoke menus. Dietary requirements can be catered for as long as the events team are made aware of these in advance.
Children can be catered for either by choosing from the children’s menu, or from the main menu, where a half portion will be provided for half the price.

Outside catering
With the exception of your wedding cake, all catering must be provided by the University’s catering team. You can supply your own wine, but a corkage fee will apply.
