Burns Night Celebration 2026

Join us for an evening celebrating the Bard here at the University of St Andrews on Saturday 24 January 2026.

Full dinner and ceilidh package

The evening will begin at 6.15pm with a welcome drink in the grandeur of Lower College Hall, which will be followed by a four course Taste of Scotland Dinner including a haggis course, a dram of whisky and half bottle of wine per person.

Entertainment during the dinner will include a piper, the address to the haggis, and additional Burns poetry.

When dinner has concluded you will be piped to Younger Hall to enjoy an evening of traditional dancing with the Pure Scotch Ceilidh Band until late. A pay as you go bar will be available. Please note this is a cashless bar with card payment only.

Package price: £69.50 per person

Bookings will be for tables of 10. Smaller parties will be allocated to tables with other guests.

Ceilidh in Younger Hall

As well as our Burns Night dinner we are hosting a ceilidh evening in Younger Hall.

For those not wishing to attend the dinner we are offering the opportunity to purchase tickets for the ceilidh only.

Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy an evening of traditional dancing on Younger Hall's authentic sprung board dancefloor to music provided by the Pure Scotch Ceilidh Band.

A pay as you go bar will be available. Please note this is a cashless bar with card payment only.
