Business Intelligence

The Business Intelligence team builds dashboards in-house using software called QlikView and Qlik Sense. These dashboards are used by Schools and Units across the University.

The team works with data owners and users across the University to present data in:

• interactive reports called dashboards
• static documents such as PDFs.

Dashboards let users find the information they need without needing access to IT systems such as SITS and ResourceLink.

The Business Intelligence team also provides customised automated reports on a schedule by email.

Some dashboards assist with operational tasks, such as monitoring budgets. Others provide management information to aid decision making, such as the number of University applicants year on year.
