Module description

This module is flexibly designed to introduce students to a range of critical theories central to the programme of study on the degree, and to introduce students to the complexity and variety of current debates in feminist and gender theory. It also provides historical and interdisciplinary contexts that supplement and support the core literature modules. The module is team taught, exposing students to diverse perspectives and methodologies, and seminars act as points of departure from which students are encouraged to explore those areas of enquiry that most interest them.
