St Andrews Summer Study

St Andrews Summer Study offers international students the opportunity to spend 3-4 weeks studying for credit at the University of St Andrews. Our undergraduate-level courses allow you to fully experience the academic rigour and quintessential feel of St Andrews, and Scotland, first-hand.

You will get to meet and be taught by world-leading lecturers and professors. Learning will take place both inside and outside of the classroom as our programmes integrate fieldtrips and environmental learning into the curriculum. All of our Summer Study courses are also credit-bearing and may allow you to transfer your work over the summer back to your home institution.

Out-of-classroom activities will let you enjoy Scotland outside of the University as well as some iconic St Andrews traditions. From relaxing in the picturesque quads of the University to working up a sweat at a Scottish ceilidh there will be plenty for you to do when you are not in class.

Pick from our residential or fieldwork courses to find the course that best fits your summer and get a taste of what the University of St Andrews has to offer.
