Request wifi access for visitors
Updated on: 16 July 2025
Visitors can use one of the University-supplied wifi networks when meeting staff members or attending events at the University.
To log in to eduroam at the University of St Andrews, visitors from eduroam-participating institutions can use the same login details they use at their institution.
University visitors who don't have an eduroam login can get online using:
- a temporary eduroam account requested by their staff host
- free BT wifi during the summer
How to request temporary eduroam accounts
You must send your request with at least five working days' notice, providing the following:
- mobile number or email address for each guest
- date or dates of your visit
For less than 10 visitors
Email itservicedesk@st-andrews.ac.uk.
For more than 10 visitors attending an event or conference
Complete the eduroam visitor access form.
The IT Service Desk will send each visitor their login details.
