Check if a role in the Module Management System (MMS) is linked to a role in Moodle

Not all roles in MMS are configured to synchronise with Moodle.

Steps

  1. Click the ‘View School’ button on the ‘Modules’ homepage for your School in MMS.
  2. Click the ‘Configure Roles’ option under the ‘People’ section.
  3. Scroll down to the ‘Role Permissions’ section and find the role you are querying.
  4. Expand the role configuration.
  5. If the ‘Moodle role’ field is blank, it is not configured to synchronise that MMS role with Moodle.

For roles to synchronise with Moodle, they must be assigned at module level in MMS.
