Guidance for credit-bearing taught modules
The instructions in this guide do not apply to Moodle courses linked to credit-bearing taught modules. Moodle courses for those modules are provided to schools during the annual module rollover process. For all issues relating to Moodle courses for credit-bearing taught modules, please email itservicedesk@st-andrews.ac.uk.
Request a standalone Moodle course
- Select the ‘my courses’ tab on the Moodle home page.
- Open the ‘course management options’ menu (⋮).
- Choose ‘request a course.’
- Enter the request details (guidance given below).
- Click the ‘request a course’ button.
Your request then goes to the Technology Enhanced Learning department for approval. Turnaround time for requests is usually 1-2 working days.
The role of 'Course Coordinator' will be assigned to the requestor of an approved course. This will allow management of enrolments and role assignments on the course.
