Get free Microsoft Office and productivity apps

Students and staff can download free copies of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, alongside other Microsoft 365 applications, like Forms and Teams.
The University subscribes to Microsoft 365 so that staff and students can access Microsoft applications and productivity tools for free.
Microsoft Office applications
- Word: for creating and editing documents
- Excel: for analysing and displaying data
- PowerPoint: for creating presentations
- OneNote: a digital notebook
- Teams: for video conferencing and collaboration

Log in to Microsoft 365 with your University username and password to use the apps.

- Clipchamp: for editing videos.
- Copilot: for creating and summarising content and asking questions.
- Forms: for making forms and surveys.
- Lists: for organising and tracking information.
- Loop: for building interactive workspaces.
- Planner: for managing team tasks and projects.
- Stream: for sharing video content.
- Sway: for creative interactive presentations.
- To Do: for creating checklists.
- Visio: for drawing flowcharts.
- Whiteboard: for creating and sharing digital whiteboards.
Available to staff
- Bookings with Me: for personal one-to-one booking pages.
- Insights: for personalised workplace analytics.

- Bookings: for booking online or in-person appointments with staff services.
- Power Automate: for automating processes.
- Power BI: for interactive reports and dashboards.
