Understand what coaching support the University of St Andrews offers students and how to book an appointment

The coaching Student Services can provide depends on your needs and situation. Email theasc@st-andrews.ac.uk.

Coaching practitioners offer support and accountability by helping you identify your strengths and what’s important to you in order to empower change. If you’re motivated for change, they can help you get there.

What to expect

  • In your initial appointment you will receive a consultation where you can describe what you believe you need. A referral will be made and a coach will be assigned to work with you.
  • In your first appointment you will discuss your goals and sign an agreement.
  • There will be tasks or homework to complete between sessions. You should be willing and motivated to carry these out to the best of your ability.
  • Further appointments will be agreed if needed.
