The talk is entitled: What do we know about aliens given that we’ve never met one?

The field of astrobiology faces an interesting epistemic challenge. They are tasked with inquiring into the nature of aliens without ever encountering any aliens. In this talk I sketch out possible routes astrobiologists have to warrant inferences about aliens.
