As reported on the Leiter Blog, Crispin Wright has accepted a full-time senior position at NYU with effect from September 2008. It is, however, misleading to have presented this as a “loss” for St. Andrews. Crispin will continue his present roles in the administration, research and graduate teaching of Arché, at their present levels, until his due date of retirement from the UK profession in 2013. He will be physically present in St. Andrews for substantial periods in each of the next six academic years, and plans are being implemented for his regular virtual presence, via video links, at Arché research seminars and for Arché graduate supervision when in New York.

Interested potential graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and visitors to the Centre should contact arche@st-andrews.ac.uk for details.
