Our first proper session next week will be a reading group, led by Justin D’Ambrosio, discussing Isaac Wilhelm’s ‘Talk About Types’ (available at: Isaac Wilhelm, Talk About Types – PhilArchive).

Justin will run us through some of the key themes in the paper, then discuss some issues he has been thinking about relating to pure type theory, consistency and Girard’s paradox.

Please do have a look at the paper ahead of the session and do your best with it. Don’t worry too much however if you struggle with the content – the session next week will be as much a chance to ask questions and learn as to engage with the specific points made in the paper!
