Welcome to St Andrews!
Welcome to our Supported Pathways Introduction to Study Webpage!
We know that with the start of term ever closer, you are likely feeling excited and nervous in equal measure! Hopefully, over the next three days, we can help you find your feet here at St Andrews, understand better what to expect and who and where to go to get help with things!
This week we will have sessions from:
- Student Services
- Study Skills Support Team
- Careers Centre
- Library
As well as hearing from the speakers, you will have a chance to chat to the Supported Pathways Team and some current students and hopefully between us we can answer all your last minute questions!.
Whether attending in person or online, you will be able to access the workshops and resources provided by speakers and members of staff on our Teams Channel.
Additionally, you will have access to chat by yourself with individual staff members at the end of each day. If you are attending in person, please join us in Physics B at the end of each day. If you are an online student, please send a message on Microsoft Teams to request a one-to-one chat.
We hope that you will find the this week to be enjoyable and helpful. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Admissions team at gatewayto@st-andrews.ac.uk.

Student Life
Whilst you are being introduced to the University a week early, orientation week officially begins on Monday 8 September 2025. During this week the town will be buzzing with activities and social events that you are welcome to attend. The best place to hear about events is on our University orientation app, which is availble to download from the University Orientation webpages.
In the meantime, the following websites and webpages contain information on the wide range of societies, sports and activities you can be involved with at St Andrews.
Please have a look through these and let us know if you have any questions:
