Pure - Research Information System
PURE is the University's web-based Research Information System, bringing together key information on research at St Andrews. Pure captures a wide range of research-related outcomes – publications, datasets, impacts, Open Access compliance, professional activities and more – and allows linking of research output and people, to award and project information, through full integration with other key University systems.

Pure content can also be shared with other research information and analysis systems such as Altmetrics for Institutions, ORCID and Researchfish.
The University of St Andrews is strongly committed to ensuring the widest possible access to its research. Pure supports the Open Access and Research Data Management teams within the Digital Research section of the Library, and the Impact team within Research & Innovation Services, in making research publications and data freely available via the St Andrews Research Portal.
