For maintenance or repair issues
Contact the Duty Manager either in person, by phone on extension 7076, or by email amhall@st-andrews.ac.uk.
During evenings or weekends, if the problem is urgent, contact the Security and Response team on extension 8999 or the Duty Warden on extension 7077.
If you are unwell
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm: call the Student Health Hub on +44 (0)1334 46 5777 for advice or 999 if you need an ambulance.
Weekdays and all weekend, 5pm to 8am: call NHS24 on 111 for advice or 999 if you need an ambulance.
Weekdays from 7pm to 8am and weekends from 2pm to 8am call your Duty Warden for basic first aid, advice and support. Always let the Warden know if you go to hospital.
For personal matters
The Duty Manager can be contacted for a personal matter, noise complaint, or an urgent repair to your room or the building, or just for a chat.
If you have an urgent issue during office hours, contact the Duty Manager on extension 7076 or email amhall@st-andrews.ac.uk) and they will contact the Warden on your behalf.
Security and Response team
In addition to the hall specific arrangements, the University Security and Response team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to deal with security incidents and provide emergency support.
You can contact the security team on extension 8999 or by calling +44 (0)1334 46 8999.
Emergency services
For the police, the fire brigade or an ambulance: dial 999 from your mobile or 9 999 from a University phone, then inform the Duty Manager or the Duty Warden.
NHS 24: call 111 from your mobile phone or dial 1045 from a University phone.
