Sub-committee on Open Research

The Open Research Sub-Committee (ORSC) provides an academic-led approach to the University’s evolving open research practices, creating a forum for exchange of views and development of the associated policies, guidance, awareness-raising, training and monitoring. ORSC reports to the Research, Impact and Innovation Committee

This committee sits in relation to other entities as shown in the framework's diagram on the Research, Impact and Innovation Committee webpage.

This committee brings together members of the previous Open Research Working Group and the Research Data Management (RDM) Advisory Group. ORSC recruits new representative members every three years using a simple and open process. See sections below for more details.
