The University of St Andrews is committed to helping staff and students stay healthy, happy and resilient.

We offer a wide range of services and resources to support both your physical and mental wellbeing, including:

  • Occupational Health Service: focused on improving staff wellbeing with proactive support for both physical and psychological health at work
  • Fitness activities with Saints Sport: Join fitness sessions like Jump out of January, designed for those new to exercise or looking to ease back into a healthier lifestyle in a supportive environment
  • Wellbeing courses: Access wellbeing and resilience-focused courses through LinkedIn Learning pathways and Personal Development Management System (PDMS) to support your personal growth
  • Mediation service: support to help strained relationships through informal, confidential conversations. Access to bespoke short sessions in conflict resolution competencies and accredited training, equipping our managers with the skills to navigate difficult and challenging exchanges

Staff also have free access to resources including:

  • Peppy: Free, confidential, and personalised support for staff and their partners on menopause and men’s health. The app connects you with menopause and men’s health nurses, nutritional therapists, mental health counsellors and expert fitness practitioners
  • Able Futures: Confidential, one-to-one support from qualified mental health professionals for staff managing mental health challenges
  • Libby: Explore magazines on health, nutrition and fitness, or relax with new books, audiobooks and Shelf Help resources from the Library
