Research impact

The department works with an ever-expanding range of external partners, including festivals, museums, archives, journalists and filmmakers. All staff are involved in public engagement activities, bringing their expertise to wider audiences.

This takes many forms, whether contributing to TV documentaries or writing for major newspapers, serving on festival juries or advising government organisations on film policy, organising public exhibitions or contributing to school curriculum.
