Digital visa
Digital visa on hold
The Digital Visa training programme has been temporarily paused, and no new bookings on the programme will be taken at this time. Those currently on the programme will be notified once courses resume.
The digital visa is a programme of training courses in Digital Communication topics. It provides training essential to anyone who works on the University’s website or with the Digital Communications team. It enables staff to feel competent and confident working on Digital Communications projects and provides new skills in a range of digital areas.
Participants who sign up and complete the four compulsory training sessions from the digital visa will become trusted digital advocates and will be one of the first points of contact between the Digital Communications team and their department or unit.
The training courses run regularly throughout the year and can be taken in any order. Digital visa participants are notified as soon as an upcoming course is scheduled. They also get priority of place on all digital visa courses up until a week before the course runs (when it is opened to all staff on a first-come first-served basis).
