Saltire Scholar internships

The Careers Centre partner with Entrepreneurial Scotland in bringing these opportunities to our students in their penultimate or final year of study. Saltire Scholars work with some of the world’s most recognised and innovative companies over an 8 to 12 week period.

What is it?

At the Saltire Scholar Programme, undergraduate students are matched with host companies across the globe for summer internships. Saltire partner with companies in a variety of sectors including fashion, technology, financial services, life science, oil and gas and third sector groups, which include well-recognised multinational organisations as well as entrepreneurial start-up companies. Internships are fully paid and can be virtual or in person.

Saltire Scholars are ambitious, creative and seek to challenge themselves. Through Saltires mission to find, fuel and spark the next generation of leaders for Scotland, they are looking for individuals who are eager to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, and are prepared to give back in return for their opportunity.

For further insight into the programme, read the Saltire Scholar blog page, where you can filter by scholars or by university.
