School of Biology Algae and aquatic ecology research
Including an Aquarium facility, marine and sediment testing, fluid dynamics, acoustic sampling, as we as a unique Pool Facility - a resource available for collaborative research and as a configurable testing facility for marine equipment.
Imaging systems to suit various needs, from Epifluorescence Microscopes to Leica SP8 and Zeiss LSM800 confocal microscopes.
Including X-Ray crystallography, Biomolecular NMR, Cryo EM and Mass Spectrometry.
Containment 2 and 3 laboratories available for the culture, processing and analysis of cell cultures, tissue processing and viral work.
