June 21st, 2010:

Instructions on where to go upon your arrival in St Andrews have now been added here. If there are any problems during transit or throughout the conference you can contact Jay and Nina directly via the mobile number sent to you in an e-mail today. If you are still to pay the conference fee, please can you do so as soon as possible as the payments are now overdue.

June 7th, 2010:

If you have registered for the conference you should now have recieved your invoice e-mail with instructions on how to pay the registration fee. If you have any problems or queries please contact us at pgtc2010@mcs.st-and.ac.uk .

June 6th, 2010:

If you had indicated on your registration form that you wished to give a talk at the conference you should now have recieved an e-mail confirming if you have been assigned a slot (or not). We had many more requests for spaces than were available and so slots were allocated on a first come first served basis. We hope that those who were not successful are not too disappointed! Can those who will be giving talks please ensure that a titles and abstracts (if different to those provided on the registration form) are e-mailed to nina@mcs.st-and.ac.uk by 16th June at the very latest. If you have any problems or queries please contact us at pgtc2010@mcs.st-and.ac.uk .

June 2nd, 2010:

Registration for the conference has now closed. We have been informed by the University that the online payment system should be ready today so invoice e-mails will be sent out shortly with instructions on how to pay the conference fees. If you have any questions in the mean time please do not hesitate to contact us via e-mail.

May 27th, 2010:

Due to lack of interest (only two people said they "might" want to make one) we have decided not to display any poster presentations at the conference. We hope this doesn't cause too much disappointment!

May 14th, 2010:

For those of you who have already sent an application form - you will recieve an invoice e-mail with the total amount payable and instructions on how to pay within the next week. We are sorry for the delay in this. Payments will be accepted either by cheque or by card via an online payment shop. We are currently waiting for the University to set up our online payment system and this is the cause of the delay.

May 12th, 2010:

Due to an unforeseen administration charge we have had to adjust the registration fees so that the cost of attending the conference will now be:

£124 for the first 65 UK students
£190 otherwise.

This still includes everything it did before. Those of you who did not want accommodation will only pay £69. Any extra nights accommodation will be charged at £27.50 per night for a single room and £53 for a twin room. Sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause!

May 7th, 2010:

Registration for the Postgraduate Group Theory Conference 2010 is now open and will close on the 1st of June. Please see the registration page for more details on how to apply. We would like to encourage participants to "spread the word" and invite any students whom they think may be interested in attending.

April 21st, 2010:

We have a new website! Content is still being added so please bear with us. In other news we are finalising the registration fees and hope to open registration by the end of the month.
