Naked on Stage has nominated The National Literacy Trust as the charity to whom 20% of profits generated from performances will be donated.

The National Literacy Trust, founded in 1993, is an independent charity dedicated to building a literate nation. Our purpose is to make an independent, strategic and practical contribution to the creation of a society in which all can enjoy the skills, confidence and pleasures of literacy.

Poor literacy skills can have a profound effect on people’s educational life chances, employability and self-esteem.

We work to raise literacy standards across the UK by running a number of practical literacy initiatives, national promotional campaigns, and by providing a web-based literacy support network at www.literacytrust.org.uk
