Welcome to the University of St Andrews Cycling Club!
This is an active and friendly club offering a wide range of cycling opportunities both in and around St Andrews and Fife and beyond, to the Borders and the Highlands.
Members’ interests vary from going on long and short road rides to braving the elements on their mountain bikes at local forests such as Tentsmuir and Balmullo, both during the day and sometimes at night.
We meet every Wednesday and Saturday at 1400 outside David Russell Apartments (see map) for a local road or mountain bike ride. Lesuire/Mellow rides meet on Wednesdays at 1400 at Albany Park for a more relaxing ride, with the chance to improve off road confidence and skills. If there’s somewhere you’d like to go in particular, leave a message on the forum to let others know.
We often hire a van and go further afield to enter SXC and BUSA competitions, or to just offer somewhere new to ride.
We are very friendly and welcoming, so no matter what your interests or ability, please come along to one of our meetings or email any member of the committee if you have any questions.
