Editorial & CSEAR News
It won't have taken a great deal of alertness to notice the major change to the appearance of SEAJ. Although the Editorial Policy and structure, plus the change of Editors, will not happen until 2008, changing the whole production function and layout of the journal was going to take some time and so we decided to try it out early. The new format will also be easier to use in our discussions with publishers who might be interested in taking on the journal. We hope you like it and find it easy to use. If you have any major objections, this is almost your last time to object.
The new appearance of SEAJ is just one of the most immediate and apparent of the changes that have been going on over the last year or so as we pursued the `St Andrews Summit' and thoroughly reevaluated CSEAR and all it does. Most of you will have received the new E-Newsletter that Sue is now producing and that is, again, a direct result of the comments received during the review process. The pages of the journal will give a fairly good indication of many of the other changes that we have set in place and, in due course, I hope to get the full policy documents up onto the web...
