Editorial & CSEAR News

As some members will be aware I have been unwell again just recently. As a result I have not been able to attend some of the recent CSEAR meetings and other conferences, which I was looking forward to. However all reports suggest that the workshop in Aberdeen was very stimulating and that the 2nd Australian Conference in Bathurst was again very successful. The organisers of the events deserve our praise and gratitude. We hope to carry reports from both events in the next issue.

Thanks to all the authors and contributors who have written pieces for this issue of SEAJ. In response to members' requests we have produced a "Note for Contributors" which is enclosed and will also be included on the website. Can I encourage all members to send articles, details of their PhD work or short pieces for the Notes and Noticeboard section - items always gratefully received.
