BAM Council is making a determined effort to strengthen the
academic quality of its annual conference. Leading Academics
from around the world, together with BAM SIGs, will host tracks
that will involve full papers submitted to a double blind refereeing
process. In addition, the BAM SIGs will play a prominent role
in workshops, symposia, round table sessions and working/developmental
papers.
Submission
Guidelines
Please send the submission

The
following submissions can be made:
1. Full (refereed)
papers:- these should be no more than 7000 words (20 minute
allocation for presentation).
2. Extended abstracts (developmental) papers:- should be no
more than 2000 words (10 minute allocation for presentation).
3. Workshops:- if you would like to organise a workshop at the
conference please submit a brief summary of no more than 1000
words.
4. Poster session (particularly for doctoral students):- submit
a summary of your PhD in no more then 1000 words. This should
include Abstract, Background, Aims, Objectives, and Methodology.
All submissions should
include:
Title of paper, Name
of the author(s), Academic affiliation/position(s), Academic
address (surface mail), E-mail address.
When submitting:
1. Please select the
appropriate track from the conference website and clearly indicate
the track for submission.
2. Clearly identify the category i.e. full paper, extended abstract,
or workshop proposal.
3. Please send the submissions along with the covering sheet:

Please
note:
1. There can be no
changes in titles, abstracts or authorship after the submission.
2. The papers must not have been previously presented, scheduled
for presentation or accepted for publication.
3. A paper can be submitted to one track only.
4. Please use Times New Roman 12 font with single spacing.
5. To ensure an impartial refereeing process, there should be
no author identification after the cover page. The next page
should start with the paper title.
6. Please indicate the word count clearly on the cover page.
7. Please label the submitted file after the first author.
8. Full papers will lead to a 20 minute presentation and discussion,
and developmental papers to 10 minutes and discussion.
Update
19 February 2004:
The existing track topics should not be seen as restrictive.
If your paper falls outside these tracks, please submit it to
the conference organizers for separate appraisal. Additional
tracks will be formed inductively from such submissions.
