Using BT Directory Enquiries
Using a Directory Enquiries (118) service is expensive. Staff who use this facility on a regular basis will find that they will increase costs to their school or unit. Costs can be saved if they use BT's online Directory Enquiries facility (a maximum of 6 searches a day are allowed from a single IP address using BT's UK online directory enquiry service) or Yell's classified directory which provides a categorised list of UK businesses.
