University night bus

All staff and students of the University of St Andrews can use the free University night bus. You must show your staff or student ID card to the driver.

The St Andrews night bus goes from the main University Library around St Andrews, returning to the main Library. Locations and pick up times are listed below. The last Library time is drop off only.

Passengers who behave antisocially may be refused entry to the bus and will be referred by the driver to the University’s Security and Response team. You cannot take food or drink on the bus. Please be aware that a bus may have to be cancelled at short notice.

Please be aware, due to unforeseen circumstances out with the driver's control, timings and route may be affected.

Stagecoach late evening service

Local bus company, Stagecoach, provides a late evening service between Dundee and St Andrews during the week that University students and staff can use for free by showing a University ID card.

The subsidised service runs from Monday to Thursday during term time. Stagecoach's existing late services will continue on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
