The Digital Communications Team can assist researchers with writing and implementing a social media strategy.


Advice can provided to researchers at the time of grant proposals if required. The Digital Communications Team can assist with writing the strategy in order to meet funder requirements.

Once the research project begins they can assist with ensuring the strategy is implemented effectively. They can also advise on the best tools to use to manage social media effectively.

Free, although there may be license costs for additional tools.

Are there limits to the service?

Advise can be offered for the "big three" social media channels : Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.

There may be costs for additional tools such as Hootsuite, and the research will need to pay for any "promoted post" costs.
