Biography
Zheng Li joined the University of St Andrews in 2025. Prior to this she was a CCKF postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Nottingham.
She received her BA and MA degrees from Shandong University and the University College London and a PhD from Newcastle University.
Research areas
Zheng Li's research interests cover modern Chinese literature and culture, with particular interests in women warriors, autobiography, and the literary construction of wartime womanhood.
