School of Modern Languages Masters Scholarship - Apply Now

The School of Modern Languages is pleased to offer a full-fee Masters scholarship for September 2026 entry. 

The scholarship is open to UK applicants for the School of Modern Languages' one-year Masters degrees - the Masters in Comparative Literature and the Masters in Global Languages, Literatures, and Cultures.

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Applicants should hold a first-class honours undergraduate degree in a relevant subject and be able to show evidence of academic excellence - such as academic prizes/distinctions.

You must upload the required paperwork outlined below alongside the standard supporting documents when applying for your place at St Andrews. You should indicate your interest in the scholarship in your personal statement. You must not wait until you have received an offer of a place. All eligible applications received before 31 May 2026 will be considered for the scholarship.
