The Institute of Behavioural and Neural Sciences (IBANS) is an interdisciplinary community of researchers who study the behaviour of human beings and other animals from cellular, neural, cognitive and evolutionary perspectives.
Bioinformatics
The Bioinformatics Unit provides support to large sequence analysis and functional genomics projects. They work with researchers in running analysis and providing training as well as getting involved in grant applications and publication writing.

The St Andrews Centre for Higher Education Research aims to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration in higher education research.
