Research areas
I develop and apply mathematical and computational methodology to understand questions in developmental biology. I research how individual cells make decisions, for example to divide or differentiate, and how multiple cells interact to form healthy and viable tissues. My work includes analysing the dynamics of gene regulatory interactions and modelling mechanics of single cells and their interactions. My aim is to to decipher the fundamental mechanisms that underly the robustness of patterning and morphogenesis.
