Dr Muireann O'Dwyer
Lecturer
Biography
Muireann joined the School of International Relations in September 2020. Her work is situated within feminist political economy, with a particular focus on the European Union. Her work explores the various roles played by race and gender in the construction, normalisation, and legitimation of economic policy.
Muireann previously taught at the University of Warwick and University College Dublin, where she completed her PhD in 2017. She has published in leading EU studies and feminist journals, including the Journal of Common Market Studies and the European Journal of Politics and Gender.
