Graduation photography

You can have studio graduation photographs taken by Tempest in Parliament Hall on South Street. No prior booking is required. Please note that quiet times are usually between 8.30am and 9.30am.

If you are graduating in the afternoon you can collect your gown and hood from Younger Hall from 8.30am onwards and have your photographs taken before your ceremony.

The studio opening hours are as follows are 8.30am to 5.30pm during graduation week.

Presentation photographs are taken as you cross the stage during your graduation ceremony. You can view them at St Salvator's Lawn straight after your ceremony. An official Tempest photographer will also be in St Salvator's Quad taking roaming shots of graduates and their guests throughout the graduation day.

You can buy presentation and portrait photographs online. These will be publicly available to view on the Tempest Events website. You should buy your photographs as soon as possible after graduation.

Roaming shots may be found on the University Facebook page.

Free photo printing

If you post a picture to Instagram and Twitter using the hashtag #SaintsGraduation, it will get printed immediately at the garden party. Prints are unlimited and will be free for you to take away as souvenirs.

See yourself graduate

A recording of each ceremony will be available from the Graduation watch live webpage for one week after the ceremony ends.

You can receive a personalised video clip of you walking across the stage. To get this video clip, you need to opt-in to receive fundraising communications when you apply to graduate. If you did not do this, please contact alumni@st-andrews.ac.uk.
