Postgraduate taught courses
The School offers taught postgraduate programmes in Human Geography and Sustainable Development.
The concept of sustainable development is highly contested, and when explored rigorously it offers a useful framework to develop and test theories and practices that appear to address many of the problems facing our societies and the planet.
The University offers one taught Masters programme in sustainable development, which is designed to prepare students for professional employment. This programme is now delivered through the Graduate School for Interdisciplinary Studies.
The School offers one research Masters programme, which is designed to prepare students for research career paths such as PhD study or advanced research positions in public or private organisations.
